The visitation and canvassing work is a vital ministry in the local church. People are
encouraged, welcomed, some reconciled and some saved. It is the missionary work at the
local level. Jesus said you will be a witness unto me in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and
to the uttermost parts of the earth. In Ezekiel 33:1-9 we as watchman are to warn people.
II Corinthians 16:9 says a great door and effectual is opened unto us. Let's put on the
whole armor of God.....feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel, and go to work in
prayer as well as door to door.
My Testimony
I was saved at the age of eleven
during an evangelistic meeting at Van Meer Baptist Church in Michigan. Bill Browers
was there holding a week of meetings. I went forward and accepted Christ as my
Savior. Pastor Browers used Ephesians 2:8 & 9 and also Romans 6:23. I thank God
for his faithfulness and goodness to me for these 50 years.
