I am the secretary to the pastoral staff and perform clerical duties for the various
ministries of the church. I enjoy assisting others, lending an ear and being an
encourager to those I come in contact with on a daily basis.
My Testimony
I
was raised in a Christian home in West Virginia. As a child I was at church each
time the doors were open. While attending church camp as a young teen, I realized
I was a sinner and made a personal decision to ask Christ to be my Savior. As my
love for the Savior grew, I wanted to be used in His service. After college I
worked at West Virginia University as an accountant. My brother and sister had
moved to Elkhart, Indiana and each time I visited I grew to like the area and
Northside Baptist Church. One Thanksgiving I was visiting and saw the church was
looking to hire a secretary. I moved to Elkhart and began working at the church in
January 1991. I also attend Northside Baptist where I serve as a Sunday School
teacher, Discipleship Leader and wherever there may be a need.
