The acronym AWANA comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.

Awana is an international, Bible-centered children's and youth ministry
providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training for
students in preschool through high school.
Awana clubbers at Northside meet on Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 during the Adult Bible Study, and break into their groups.

What goes on at Awana? |

Awana Game Time
Takes place on our AWANA game circle and provides fun, exercise, and team-building
skills. In the spring, clubbers can participate in the AWANA games where they compete
against other clubs.
Handbook Time
Clubbers recite verses they have learned from their handbooks.
Counsel Time
Clubbers listen to a short devotional.
